Temple House

Temple House is a Georgian mansion set in an estate of 1000 acres, overlooking a 13th century lakeside castle of the Knights Templar. The Percevals have lived here since 1665. The present house was refurbished in 1864 and retains its old atmosphere, furnishings and some canopied beds.

Deb is a member of Eurotoques and uses produce from the walled garden and the estate which runs sheep and Kerry cattle. There are terraced gardens and miles of woodland walks. Guests may also explore the lake in a rowing boat or fish for pike. Within easy reach are beautiful beaches, archaeological sites, riding schools, trout lakes and golf courses. Traditional music and Irish dancing sessions are often held nearby.
