Solar da Vacariça

Located in the village of Vacariça, near Mealhada, the Solar da Vacariça is a manor house in a farming estate, with architecture dating from the 16th century. From its history we can trace D. Pedro II, King of Portugal, spent the night here on 27th of August 1704, at the time of the war with Spain.
