Casa da Timpeira

Built in the 14th Century and expanded in the 18th century, recently restored, has a history linked to Father António de Azevedo who was Camilo Castelo Branco's teacher in his youth and to whom the latter dedicated his master-piece 'O Bem eo Mal' (The Good and the Evil). A Camilian library is being organized in honour of the great romantic writer.
