The exact date of construction of this rustic house is unknown, although by the architectural style and archaeological evidence, it is thought to be late 17th or early 18th Century. This farm setting in the most northerly village of Portugal is close to the mountainous region of the Peneda-Gerês National Park, rendering a most picturesque location.
