Rose Cottage
Rose cottage was originally a characteristic West Friesian bulb farm of which only a few have been preserved. The unique residence is situated in a for this region typical ribbon building village alongside the Beemstervaart and dates from the 19th century. Where once the tulip bulbs were dried, an exceptional guesthouse has been established surrounded by an extraordinary environment. The village of Oudendijk adjoins the Beemsterpolder where you can marvel at the famous Dutch cloud formations, undertake invigorating walking tours along the embankments, bicycle tours through small villages and canoe trips on canals and ditches.
