This guesthouse is located in a graceful town house, situated on a broad leafy street where once the stream the Dokkumer Ee flowed. The house dates from around 1590. The house front with its beautiful hard stone pavement stairs dates from the end of the 18th century: in the back-front and numerous elements of the interior much of the original state of the residence has been retained. Because of its central location in Leeuwarden, our guesthouse is an ideal base of operations for exploring this pleasant capital of the province of Friesland as well as for tours in the direct vicinity, where you will find lots of treasures regarding cultural facilities and historical monuments.

The appartment has a private entrance. The living is situated in the "Voorkamer" (front room) and has an originally box-bed (2x2 m with interior TV). In the "Achterkamer" (backroom) you can enjoy a cup of tea / coffee, a glass of wine (all free of charge). The guestroom has a private bathroom with shower. You will find the WC at the "bel etage", easily accessible via the little stairway. Here you will also find the small library with large documentation about historic Leeuwarden.
