Hereboerderij Zuidpool

Dating from 1852, this monumental gentleman farmer's house is enclosed by a magnificent festoon garden. The garden dates from 1879 and was designed by the well known Groningen landscape architect Vroom. Over time the garden has been renovated and has presently been restored to the full extend of its former glory. The Groningen landscape in the vicinity of the residence is littered with countless peaceful country roads and cycle paths. Located at close quarters, the Menkemaborg in Uithuizen and the open air museum in Warfum can be visited.
