Sallyport House
Standing
on the shore of Kenmare Bay, overlooking the harbour, Sallyport
House is a delightful Edwardian House in a lovely location. It
adjoins Reenagross Woodland Park and is less than five minutes' walk
from Kenmare town.
The house was built from the stone of an old famine workhouse and
features the worn steppng-stone from its doorway. It is beautifully
decorated and filled with antique furniture and Irish paintings. The
bedrooms are charming and have large bedrooms. One has a four-poster
and all rooms enjoy breathtaking views over the harbour or gardens.
Sallyport is the perfect base from which to explore the Ring of
Kerry and the Beara peninsular. There are many famous golf courses
within easy reach. Fishing and riding can also be arranged.
