Hilton Park
If
you are looking for a calm, beautiful place where you can relax
and take life gently and eat imaginatively cooked, homegrown food
among friendly people, this is it. Hilton has been the Madden family
home since 1734 and the furnishings, portraits and memorabilia have
the harmony of long association.
All rooms have stunning views over the 500 acre wooded park or
the restored gardens and lake. Many say the dining room is their
favourite in the country.
Hilton is not a place to rush through and is an ideal centre from
which to visit Castle Coole, Florence Court, Crom, Marble Arch Caves
and all of Lough Erne; Ulster and the Midlands are at your feet.
The Maddens have a special itinerary of little known, local antiquities.
For stay-at-homes there are books, golf, fishing, boating and bicycles
for hire.
