Frewin
Frewin
is an important, unaltered Victorian house, in mature wooded grounds,
on the outskirts of historic Ramelton. Formerly the rectory, the
house has been painstakingly restored and authentically furnished
by Thomas and Regina. They and their family offer their guests a
warm welcome in an atmosphere of comfort and relaxation. Supper
is available (with advance notice).
Ramelton is an unspoiled Heritage Town at the mouth of the River
Lennon, on the western shore of Lough Swilly, and boasts a number
of fine examples of the architecture of the 17th century and Georgian
periods. It is an ideal base for walking or touring Donegal's wild
mountainous countryside and spectacular coastline, with fine beaches,
golf courses, tennis, fishing, leisure centres and restaurants in
the area.
