Fermoyle Lodge
Fermoyle, a fine Victorian sporting lodge,
is tucked away in one of the wildest and most remote parts of Connemara.
From its wilderness setting there are spectacular views over Fermoyle
Lake to the distant Twelve Pins.
It is an ideal location for sporting pursuits, with salmon and
sea trout fishing (fly only) on the doorstep and several golf courses
within easy reach. A 15 minute drive enables guests to reach the
Connemara coast, with its many sandy beaches, or the ferry to the
magical Aran Islands. Fermoyle is just 29 miles from Galway City
and its airport and 2½ hours from Shannon.
