Rectory Farm
Rectory Farm, a two hundred year old, creeper-clad farmhouse stands
in its own peaceful 450 acre valley of scenic farmland in the North
Cotswolds. A mature garden leads down to two beautiful trout lakes,
where fishing is available for guests. Light-filled rooms are traditionally
furnished.
Nigel, an arable and livestock farmer, together with Elizabeth
and their 3 children enjoy all aspects of country life. Having lived
here all their lives, they possess good local knowledge and are
only too happy to advise on the more unusual places to visit.
Situated halfway between Stratford-upon-Avon and Oxford, 6 miles
from Stow-on-the-Wold, 12 miles from Blenheim Palace, makes it ideal
for touring the Cotswolds. Cheltenham, Warwick Castle, Barnsley
and Hidcote Gardens are all within easy reach.
Salford is one mile north-west of Chipping Norton on the A44.
Rectory Farm is at the far end of the village. Go past the Black
Horse pub, left by the Village Hall, up the hill, past the childrens
play area on your right and then left into the farm drive. Continue
for 200 yards and turn left into the house and garden.
