Lawrence House

Lawrence House is a Georgian Grade II listed house on the edge of the village of Studley Roger, which is 2 miles from the market and cathedral town of Ripon. Two acres of fine garden adjoins the historic Studley Royal deer park and Fountains Abbey.

The Yorkshire Dales, Harrogate and York are all within easy driving distance. Lawrence House is beautifully furnished with many antiques and fine pictures, and in the winter months the house is filled with roaring log fires. The bedrooms, with views over open countryside are spacious and beautifully furnished. The bathrooms pretty and luxurious.

John has been in the wine trade for many years. Harriet has had her own interior decorating business. She enjoys producing delicious and interesting dinners. Special breaks for bridge foursomes are available from November to March.

Turn off the A1 to Ripon. In Ripon take the B6265 Pateley Bridge road. About 2 miles out of Ripon take a lefthand turn into the village of Studley Roger. Lawrence House is the last house on the righthand side of the village.
