The Old Rectory
A Grade II listed stone rectory furnished with antiques, in fox
hunting country with commanding views over unspoilt countryside,
surrounded by many historical houses, castles and stately homes.
Rutland Water, Britains largest manmade lake, with facilities
for birdwatching, water sports, cycling and fishing is close by.
Uppingham, Lyddington Bede House, Foxton Locks and Market Harborough
are also nearby. Althorp, the Spencer family home can be visited
in summer. Some famous walks through east Leicestershire's rolling
hills and valleys with their lovely Collyweston tiled, ironstone
and limestone villages can be enjoyed from Hallaton.
Mr. Fraser is a past Master of a city livery company and his hobbies
include old cars.
Please bring your own wine and they will be pleased to serve it.
Take the A47 from Uppingham and turn left at East Norton and follow
signs, or take A6 from Market Harborough, turn right onto B6047.
After 3 miles turn right. You will then come to Church Langton and
