This has to be one of the most perfect places to stay when visiting The Marches area. The food is excellent, the house lovely and the 30 acre garden and arboretum with its sweeping lawns, magnificent trees and spectacular views provide a unique atmosphere of peace and tranquillity.

For the energetic there is an outdoor heated pool and all weather tennis court, whilst Hay-on-Wye, Hereford Cathedral with its historic Mappa Mundi, Croft Castle, Berrington Hall and many interesting gardens including the National Azalea Collection and arboretum at Hergest Croft are all within easy reach. Mike and Anne are relaxed and informal and they (and the dogs) will give you a very warm welcome to this 1200 acre estate which has been in Anne’s family for over 600 years. From Leominster follow sign A44 then A4112 Brecon. After 8 miles just past Weobley turn-off, go right marked Broxwood/Pembridge. After 2 miles go straight over crossroads. After 400 yards ignore first entrance and turn left over next cattle grid.
