How Park Farm

How Park Farm is set in 7 acres high above the River Test in the confines of the John of Gaunt (1330-1399) Deer Park on the site of the original hunting lodge – about 3 miles from Stockbridge.

The farmhouse is within easy reach by road of the cathedral cities of Salisbury and Winchester. It is one hour from London (Waterloo) by train and the four nearest points of entry are Southampton airport ( ½ hour), Portsmouth Ferry ( ¾ hour), Heathrow (1 hour) and Gatwick (75 minutes).

The house is surrounded by an abundance of undisturbed wild life, peacocks strut on the lawn, fishing on the Test can be arranged. Caroline’s two labradors and a family of cats make up the menage. Unfortunately no pets or children accepted. A no smoking house.

Take A3057 from Stockbridge signposted Romsey/King’s Somborne 2 miles, to 30mph How Park sign. In King’s Somborne first right up hill, Cowdrove Hill, at top turn left along ridge, continue down track. How Park Farm signed on right, through black gate.
