Yew Tree House

Yew Tree House is a light and spacious home, surrounded by peaceful countryside. The bedrooms and bathrooms are luxurious and beautifully decorated, and the beds exceptionally comfortable. Guests have their own spacious lounge which looks out onto a secluded walled garden.

Elizabeth is a trained and talented cook, who delights in serving delicious meals and is a keen gardener and flower arranger. Tony is a naval architect with a passion for cricket as well as the books, which fill one wall of the guest lounge. They both enjoy welcoming guests and advising on local attractions, golf, country walks and gardens of interest such as RHS Hyde Hall.

The house is 8 miles from M25 via the A12. There is a regular train service from Ingatestone to London (Liverpool Street) taking only 30 minutes.4

From London on A12, take B1002 to Ingatestone. At centre of village, after church, turn left at crossroads, opposite Stock Lane, into Fryerning Lane. Up hill to Woolpack pub and turn right. Yew Tree House 300 yards on right.
