Bower Lodge
A beautiful early Victorian house in a quiet wooded lane off the
village High Street, standing in 4 acres of informal gardens.
Peter and Liz offer a warm welcome to their beautifully furnished
home where guests will feel very relaxed and will be entertained
with ease and gentle attention.
Delicious meals are served in a most attractive dining room with
much of the produce home grown.
This historic village of Repton (8 miles from Derby) and formerly
the capital of Mercia, is ideally situated for visiting the Peak
District, Chatsworth House, Melbourne Hall, Kedleston Hall, Calke
Abbey, Alton Towers, Sudbury Hall and Donnington Park Race Track.
East Midlands and Birmingham Airports are nearby as are the M1 and
M42 motorways, giving easy access to the National Exhibition Centre.
Repton is situated between A38 Derby/Burton Road, and the Ashby-de-la-Zouch
junction of the M42. Once in the village proceed down the High Street
with the church directly behind you and take the first right turn
after the Bulls Head and then take first steep drive on the
left.
