Cotham Lodge

A Grade II listed period dower house set in delightful grounds overlooking the sea. This Welsh family home is elegantly furnished with antiques and lovely colours. Two of the bedrooms, with their own sitting room, are in the adjacent traditional Welsh cottage which has been recently restored.

The small ancient borough of Trefdraeth (Newport) with its own Norman castle, is in the Pembrokeshire National Park and easily accessible. It is on the coastal walk which stretches both north and south with marvellous seascape walking. It is an ideal centre for ornithologists, for exploring the unspoilt countryside, the beautiful Gwaun Valley and seashores of both Cardiganshire and Pembrokeshire. St. David’s Cathedral, the National Trust Colby Gardens, ancient castles and monuments and many craft centres and galleries are nearby. A no smoking house.

On the A487 Cardigan to Fishguard road. From Cardigan go through the village, the house is on the right next to the Memorial Hall with entrance gates on the corner. From Fishguard, the house is on the left bend of the hill going down to Newport.
