Brough House

Situated in the countryside, 40 minutes east of Inverness and 15 minutes west of Elgin, this beautifully furnished and comfortable family house offers tranquillity and seclusion.

It is within easy reach of Brodie and Cawdor castles, The Malt Whisky Trail and the beautiful Spey valley. One mile away are marvellous forest walks and beaches of the Moray Firth. Close by is the village of Findhorn and Gordonstoun School. To the east are the attractive old fishing villages which have a character of their own.

For the golfer there are 15 golf courses in the area from the championship links course at Nairn to a small 9 hole course almost on the doorstep.

Rosemary’s cooking is based on traditional Scottish country house recipes making full use of game, and fish from the quayside of Lossiemouth as well as vegetables and soft fruit from the garden.

Turn north off the A96 2 miles west of Alves or 4 miles east of Forres privately signed ‘East Grange’. Continue for 1 mile crossing right over small hump-backed railway bridge. After about ½ mile Brough House is on the left at a T-junction.
