Prestonhall

Prestonhall is one of the finest Georgian houses in the south of Scotland. Set in 70 acres of beautiful parkland with magnificent mature trees. It is renowned for its fine architecture and beautiful interiors.

Prestonhall is well placed for spending time in Edinburgh whilst living in an elegant country home, so too for golf enthusiasts, being only 25 minutes from 10 golf courses including Gullane and Muirfield.

Local sight-seeing includes a distillery and two castles within ten minutes.

Prestonhall lends itself to having guests in gracious, homely surroundings, where children are also welcome.

Prestonhall is signed off the A68 at the northern end of Pathhead: 12 miles south of Edinburgh and 15 miles north of Lauder. Coming from the south – turn right at the foot of Pathhead: from Edinburgh turn left 300 yards past Stair Arms Hotel. Lions Gate Lodge ¼ mile. Prestonhall ¼ mile up drive.
