Blacketlees
The
old farm steading, gin-gan and cobbled yard set the scene for this
lovely house with a warm welcome to match.
Blacketlees, a Georgian listed sandstone building, is an informal
and happy house where you will be made to feel very much at home.
Light, spacious interiors are a legacy of a lengthy but thoroughly
enjoyed renovation period, in which the house was restored to its
original glory and at the same time brought up to date with regard
to guest comfort
and convenience.
A traditionally furnished drawing room, dining room and recently
completed garden room are perfect places to relax. Large rooms,
either with en suite or private bathrooms, have equally large,
comfortable beds with pocket sprung mattresses that promise deep
sleep and sweet dreams.
Feeling refreshed, there is a pretty country garden, almost a mile
of riverbank, woodland and an eight acre island in the river to
enjoy.
