Priory Steps
Priory Steps is delightfully situated a few minutes walk from the
centre of the historic small country town of Bradford-on-Avon. It
was built in the 17th century as a terrace of weavers cottages.
Carey and Diana converted it into a spacious family home and have
now been welcoming Wolsey Lodge guests for ten years.
Each bedroom at Priory Steps enjoys wonderful south facing views.
With 30 stately homes, castles, gardens and museums within 15
miles of Priory Steps it is ideally situated for those wishing to
enjoy the West Country and delve into its history. A quiet alternative
to Bath which is situated 8 miles by road or 12 minutes by train.
Bradford-on-Avon is on the A363, 8 miles south east of Bath, 2
miles north of Trowbridge. Take the first left, towards Bath, just
north of Bradford town bridge. After 200 yards turn left, signed
to Turleigh, by thatched cottage. Priory Steps is 100 yards on the
left.
