The Old Rectory
The Old Rectory is a listed building dating from the 16th century
standing in mainly walled grounds, a feature of which are the rose
beds and the various mature trees. The house is well situated to
explore East Anglia being on the Suffolk/Norfolk border. Bury St
Edmunds is twelve miles away, the market town of Diss is eight.
Cambridge, Ipswich and Norwich are within easy reach.
The house is beautifully furnished and many period features add
to the charm of this lovely stylish family home. The luxurious bedrooms

Sarah is a trained cook and Bobby, who has travelled extensively,
particularly during his days in the City, offers an interesting
and varied wine list. Together they delight in entertaining guests

Bury St Edmunds take A143 to Diss. On entering Stanton take B1111
signed Garboldisham. On entering Hopton, The Old Rectory is on right
immediately after the church. From Thetford take A1066 to Diss.
On entering Garboldisham take B1111 signed Stanton. On entering
Hopton, The Old Rectory is on left immediately before the church.
